Water-Cooled Belt Splicing Press
For PVC / PU / PE Light Conveyor Belts
Belt width 600 – 4200 mm · Platen width 150 / 200 mm · Fully automatic water cooling
▎Introduction
| BAYRICH Water-Cooled Belt Splicing Press uses high temperature, pressure and water-cooling technology to hot-splice PVC, PU, PE and other light thermoplastic conveyor belts. Each aluminium platen integrates heating elements, cooling pipes and temperature probes; with airbag pressure and clamping bars, the control box automatically completes pressing, heating, dwell and cooling. Compared with air-cooled presses, the water-cooled machine has a stronger body and can be built much wider, with a 150 mm or 200 mm heating surface — better suited to long tooth and finger-over-finger splices. A complete splice cycle takes about 30–45 minutes. It is widely used for belt installation and repair in food, packaging, logistics, textile and airport baggage handling. |

▎Key Features
● Fast water cooling—180 → 60 °C in about 3–5 minutes | ● Wide coverage—600 – 5200 mm, beyond air-cooled capability |
● Stronger build—aluminium / stainless body, 10–15 years of service | ● Fully automatic—pressing, heating, dwell and cooling in one cycle |
● Wider heating surface—150 / 200 mm for long tooth and finger splices | ● More economical—lower cost than an air-cooled press of the same size |
▎Splicing Procedure
1. Cut both belt ends into finger shape by finger punching machine and mark the splice line and angle; | 2. Lay the belt on the lower platen, fit the upper platen and clamp; |
3. Connect power and water; set temperature, time and pressure; | 4. Apply pressure and heat to the set temperature, then dwell; |
5. Start water cooling; open below 60 °C and trim the splice. |
